Greenhouses at Veternik
Job Status: Completed and Functional
The greenhouses have already made an important impact on the people served by that facility and hope to do more with them on the vocational training including bag/box fabrication and more.

Laundromat at Zvecanska
Job Status: Complete
Orphanage management is negotiating with large commercial cleaners for work on a continuous basis.  Contractor who built the laundromat provided additional work at no cost providing the best possible facility for the institution and the children.

Culinary Academy
Job Status: August 2008 Class Completed
Fifteen orphans completed the three-week course taught by LA’s Divino Restaurant Owner Goran Milic.  A number of the students have standing job offers from some of the best restaurants in Belgrade including Madera. 

Shipping Container
The 40-foot container arrived on September 24 in Serbia with school kits, hygiene kits and baby layettes for the orphanages.  Port of Valencia (Transhipment Point) congestion forced a three-week delay missing the start of school by a few weeks.
